Bruce Springsteen cancels NC show in protest of HB2
Bruce Springsteen has cancelled his April 10th concert in Greensboro, North Carolina in protest of the sate's new HB2 law. HB2 has become known as North Carolina's "bathroom bill" due to it legally nullifying any local citywide ordinances in the state that protected transgender rights, with many paying specific attention to the rights of transgender individuals' using the bathroom that matches their preferred gender if they have not taken legal or surgical steps to change their preferred gender. The law also defines classes of discrimination statewide based on race, religion, age, handicap, and nationality.
