The EDM of Coachella

Coachella is nearing, and you are probably beginning to decide who you want to see right about now. The lineup this year features a lot of EDM heavyweights, and here are some artists should definitely see.

You know Madeon from the new Passion Pit song "Pay No Mind." He also worked with Lady Gaga on three of her tracks on ARTPOP and toured with her as an opening act for the Born This Way Ball. This French producer will be releasing his debut album, Adventure, at the end of March.

This Norwegian DJ gained serious fame for his remix of Ed Sheeran's "I See Fire," but now he's making his own original music. Kygo did the anthem titled "ID" for the 2015 Ultra Music Festival in Florida. His set is sure to be equal parts remixes and original work. Check out his famous "I See Fire" remix below.

This Canadian house musician, fashion icon, and Berklee grad turns out sick beats with groovy pop vocals. She'll be touring with Betty Who this year, offering steam-pop beats to audiences across the US.

Annie Mac

Annie Mac is one of Radio 1's most popular DJ's, spinning dance music every Friday night and releasing annual compilations of her favorite tracks at the end of every year. Coachella will be Annie's fourth show on the US leg of her tour.

This Chicago duo needs no introduction. They've brought their hip-hop/trap music to just about every major festival in the country and are known to spin new mixes live. If you haven't seen Flosstradamus live yet, do not miss your opportunity at Coachella.

DJ Snake

We've all tried to sing along with the parts of "Turn Down For What" that don't have any words. We have DJ Snake to thank for that. He toured with Skrillex in 2014 on the Mothership Tour, and he's already snagged two Grammy nominations: one for his hit song with Lil Jon, the other for his production on Lady Gaga's album Born This Way. Check out his brand new song with Major Lazer, "Lean On."

You've all probably heard of ODESZA, they are definitely on the up. You can catch them at almost every festival this year, and I mean it when I say it will be fantastic every time.

NERO are a Grammy Award Winning electronic music trio from the UK. If you've been to a festival in the past five years, chances are you've already seen them, but I'd recommend catching them again.

Alesso became a household name after releasing some hit singles, and opening up for Madonna on her MDNA tour. He was recently ranked 15 of the 100 Top DJ's in DJ Magazine.

Axwell Λ Ingrosso
Axwell and Ingrosso are a Swedish Music Duo signed to Def Jam. They made their live debut last June at New York City's Governors Ball Music Festival after Swedish House Mafia disbanded. They are two of the biggest DJ's around.

Porter Robinson
Porter Robinson is a genre bending Electronic Musician. He's been active since 2010 but released his debut album in 2014.

Ranked at number 30 on DJ Magazine's "Top 100 DJ's" Kaskade is definitely a talented man. He's been active for a number of years, but found fame around 2008 when EDM began to explode as a genre.

David Guetta
Everyone has heard a David Guetta produced track. EVERYONE. He has sold over 9 Million albums and 30 Million singles world wide.

New World Punx
New World Punx are an EDM Supergroup featuring Markus Schulz and Ferry Corsten. The name derives from Markus Schulz’s hit, “The New World”, and Ferry Corsten’s massive anthem, “Punk”.
